Jeffrey Thomas Chapman
The fifteenth Auditor-General of New Zealand, Jeffrey Thomas Chapman, was Controller and Auditor-General for two years, from 1992 to 1994.
Jeffrey Chapman began working for the Audit Office in 1956. He was Assistant Auditor-General and Deputy Auditor-General before he was named Auditor-General in 1992.
Mr Chapman resigned amid allegations of fraud, and was later jailed for fraud.
