Stephanie joined the Office of the Auditor-General in October 2022. Her main responsibilities are councils and their associated entities in the Canterbury, Manawatū-Whanganui, and Taranaki regions. She also has responsibility for port companies (excluding Ports of Auckland).

Stephanie has a strategy, policy, community well-being, and corporate planning background with a broad depth of leadership experience in local government, having worked within the sector over the last 17 years.

Before coming to the Office she was the General Manager Corporate at Whanganui District Council.
