Henry works across the central government and local government sectors. He re-joined the Office in May 2022 after a two-year secondment with Te Arawhiti (The Office for Māori Crown relations) where he was Manager Strategic Policy and worked as a specialist advisor on monitoring the health of the Māori Crown relationship. Henry was previously a sector manager in the Parliamentary Group and has a background in performance and value for money audit. He has authored reports on a wide range of matters including the public sector’s response to the Canterbury earthquakes, Māori housing, governance in the arts and culture sector, and ICT enabled business change.
Henry has an Executive Masters’ degree in Public Administration from the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.
