This was the first webinar in our 2023 series on building strong national integrity systems in the Pacific region.
The series provides a forum for Pacific Supreme Audit Institutions, Public Service Commissions, Ombudsmen, and other interested public sector agencies to share knowledge and expertise about building strong integrity systems.
To mark the release of the Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institution (PASAI)’s fourth study of accountability and transparency issues and risks in the Pacific region, the Office of the Auditor-General of New Zealand and Secretary-General of PASAI hosted an online webinar.
The webinar explored the value civil society organisations bring to the effective function of the public financial management system and particularly to the work of Supreme Audit Institutions in the Pacific. Panellists shared ways their organisations complement the work of government integrity agencies and provided examples of actions they have taken.
