Total debt
These graphs show the total consolidated debt in dollar thousands. The amounts appear in the statement of financial position (or equivalent) in the annual reports. Total debt is debt that accrues interest, such as current and non-current borrowings, terms loans, and public debt. Total debt is the cumulative amount the organisation owes to creditors or lenders. It helps in understanding the extent of financial obligations.
In the period 1 January 2016 to 31 March 2020, before Te Pūkenga was established, the 16 institutes of technology and polytechnics (ITPs) operated independently.
