Professional development

We actively support the ongoing learning and development of all employees through individual development plans, office-wide training programmes, and Continuing Professional Development for the audit staff working in Audit New Zealand.

In addition, staff are encouraged to opt into the Career Board, which aims to facilitate individual growth and development, in addition to the office-wide opportunities.

We also run an Empowering Leaders Programme. Our leaders of people have an important role in supporting and developing our people to realise their potential.

People leaders are key to carrying out our work, fulfilling our role and purpose, achieving our strategic intentions, and living our "what we stand for" statements.

We are committed to supporting our staff's development, and to continuing to increase the capability in the Office to support our priorities and intentions.
