Program Co-ordinator, International Engagement
The Office of the Auditor-General Te Mana Arotake (the Office) aims to improve trust and confidence in the public sector. The Auditor-General is the statutory auditor of all public organisations, playing a major part in ensuring that New Zealand’s public sector remains one of the most trusted in the world. No other organisation, public or private, has the overview of the whole public sector that the Office of the Auditor-General has.
We’re looking for a Program Co-ordinator to support the Office’s international work. This is an opportunity to be part of our wide-ranging capacity-building work in the Pacific region.
In this role, you’ll be working closely with the Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (PASAI), Pacific audit institutions, and the Auditor-General of New Zealand in their role as the Auditor-General for the Governments of Niue and Tokelau. You’ll provide critical support to our International Engagement team, working alongside PASAI, our twinning partner Audit Offices in the Cook Islands and Samoa, and staff across the Office.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting program design, implementation, and reporting, as well as providing administrative support for event logistics, procurement, and travel arrangements.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- experience in program co-ordination;
- the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment; and
- excellent planning, organisational, relationship management, and communications skills.
Join us and make a difference across the Pacific!
We offer our staff:
- Learning and development opportunities.
- Supportive, flexible working.
- Health and well-being benefits.
We have a diverse and inclusive team that helps us to understand the issues facing the public sector and how these affect the lives of New Zealanders. We strongly welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you have any support or access requirements, we encourage you to tell us when you apply so that we can assist you through the recruitment process.
This is a new role, established as a part-time position (20 hours per week, with flexibility to align to program rhythms). You’ll be based at our Wellington Office, and some domestic and international travel may be required.
You can read more about our international work and PASAI events on our website.
