Finalisation of the Auditor-General's inquiry into certain allegations about Housing New Zealand Corporation

The Auditor-General will provide a final inquiry report to the Board of Housing New Zealand Corporation (the Corporation) on certain allegations made by a former contractor of the Corporation no later than Monday 12 June (see Terms of reference).

Finalising the inquiry report has required additional time for 2 reasons. Firstly, to enable the Auditor-General to complete consultation with affected parties (other than the Corporation) regarding the content of the draft inquiry report. Secondly, to enable the Auditor-General to complete internal quality assurance processes.
