Feedback is now open

We invite you to provide feedback on the Auditor-General’s Draft annual plan 2025/26.

The Auditor-General is an independent watchdog over the public sector. Our work supports Parliament and the public to hold the public sector to account for how it performs for New Zealanders.

The proposed work programme focuses on where we consider we can best influence improvements in public organisations’ performance and accountability. It seeks to deliver on the priorities in our strategic intentions to 2028.

Your input will help ensure that our 2025/26 work programme is relevant, responsive, and useful to New Zealanders.

When providing feedback, please include the title of the proposed work or the part of the plan you are commenting on. Please send your feedback to [email protected] by Wednesday 21 May 2025.
